About CompTaG
Computational Topology and Geometry (CompTaG) at MSU is a group of researchers (comprised of both faculty and students) who meet weekly in order to learn the tools of the field, read recent research papers, and discuss open questions.
These research projects are advised or led by faculty in the Gianforte School of Computing and the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The focus of our research is applied topological data analysis and computational geometry. Our goal is to apply theoretical knowledge on the subjects to real data sets in new and meaningful ways.
